Lurgan Town

Situated on the southern shore of Lough Neagh, with a population of 25,000 this market town was established in the 17th Century. The linen industry gave impetus to the town’s development in the 17th and 18th centuries.

The majority of buildings are Victorian or earlier in date, with many notable and worth a visit. Historic Trails are available throughout the year. Lurgan Town Park is the second largest public park in Ireland, with a host of playing fields, country walks and children play areas. The visiting angler is also well catered for with a large number of fishing stands at Lurgan Park Lake, in the centre of the park.

Lurgan Golf Club backs on to the park and is an excellent course for golfers of all handicaps.
There are a number of visitor attractions around the town, catering for all ages and energy levels.
The Master McGrath Festival in July every year is a must. ( Picture shows view from apartment overlooking onto golf course )

Lurgan is easily accessible, located in the centre of Northern Ireland and on all the main road and rail links. Belfast International airport is 30 minutes away.
